Hi there! Thanks for visiting my page.

In 2010 and 2011, my husband and I had the chance to visit water projects in Malawi and Zambia. Something that I took forgranted...a tap...took on new significance when I met 13 year-old Anjelina.

She led me to her aging and broken bore hole...the only water source for quite a distance and used by a lot of people. It had been repaired and re-repaired and she was worried that if this last fix of metal on metal – twisted wire and rebar – didn’t hold, that she and her mother will have to walk a lot further to get water. There would be no more school and her future would be uncertain.

So I am excited to be running in the World Vision Global 6K for Water! On May 19th, 2018, I will be joining thousands of others around the globe to run 6k and provide clean water to children like Anjelina in communities around the world. For me, its personal.

I would love for you to either register for the Global 6K alongside me or make a donation to my fundraising page.

For $50, World Vision can provide an individual with clean water that lasts!

Thank you with all of my heart for your support. ~Christy
